Asian Central is a small, family-run business which has been providing fresh, quality Asian cuisine since 2010.
The owner and head chef, Hung, first came to Australia from Vietnam in 1985 at the age of 22. He worked in various occupations but his passion was in cooking. Finally in 1999, Hung studied to become a professional chef. With his determination and hard work by 2002 he became the head chef on Rundle Street, Adelaide.
In August 2010, Hung opened Asian Central with the aim of celebrating local produce, authentic and fresh flavours. In March 2017, a new Gawler restaurant was debuted. With 16 years of experience now under his belt and with the help of his lovely wife, Ha, and their daughter, Maria, Hung and his family are determined to share their passion for food and to provide a welcoming experience to each and every person who comes through their doors.
